Our Light Songtext
von Gary Kemp

Our light is much brighter than the sun
More tender than the moon
Our light is a crack that breaks the sky
A torch within the gloom

A dream of an evensong returns
The strength of a thousand candles burn
A boy as pale as milk sings out towards the storm
You find my hand, we′re not alone

Our light grows inside us day by day
Protects us from the cold
Our light is to help us when in pain
Is to always see us home

I walked for years to hear a note
The road so dark I felt afloat
Once blind to everything, you help me understand
The overreaching schemes of man

I feel it generating in my head
I feel it burning brightly in our bed
I know that in my final day you'll wrap me in its glow
And in our light you′ll let me go

Our light is much brighter than the sun
More tender than the moon
Our light is a way to see the world
Is a way to fight the gloom
Our light grows inside them day by day
Protects them from the cold
Our light is to help them when in pain
Is to always see them home
