Silver Lining Songtext
Lately I′ve doing okay
I have not had a carb in like 40 days
I've been working out
I′ve been going to bed
I'm in a nice routine of biweekly head
But I've been
Losing sense of direction
No matter how hard I try I′m still so depressed
I′ve been unexcited
I've been going blind
What more can I do with all of this time
Am I done
Am I done
Or am I wasting time?
Or is this just my life?
Someone give me some direction
From this self-imposed oppression
I Need a one-on-one
With the man above
I keep calling he′s declining
Jesus where's my silver lining
Tell me where′s my silver lining
I got a new therapist
She thinks I'm dumb as fuck
Because I truly care
What people think of me
I give her 300 a week I don′t have
To build my self-esteem I gave to my dad
If I stopped trying to be somebody so important
Maybe I would figure it out
Take a break, pay attention, I am too hard on myself
Change of pace, of direction, stress is no good for my health
I'll accept that no one's perfect I′ll play music just for fun
That′s exactly what I need but what I need's not what I want
I am wasting time
This is just my life?
Someone give me some direction
From this self-imposed oppression
I need a one-on-one with the man above
I keep calling he′s declining
Jesus, where's my silver lining
Tell me, where′s my silver lining
I need a one-on-one
With the man above
I keep calling he's declining
Jesus where′s my silver lining
Where's my silver lining
Where's my silver lining?
I have not had a carb in like 40 days
