I don′t know why I feel so high
With a blue dream dripping from my left eye
My mother goes to hold my hand
And I catch a little look of fear in her eye
When the doctor called, she only laughed
My father he wrote the whole thing out
It's nothing to worry about and all will be well
And everyone seemed a little kinder


And I will go when I will
But I know there′s some life left in me still
And I know one day I will be dead
But please, please God, please not yet

I tried to play it down at the MRI
It's been five long years and only doubled in size
It's four by five centimeters and calcified
And I told her my girl′s got a few years on mine
A friend at work, her mother′s paralyzed
She told me to be quiet and to realize
Everybody's had a little worry like mine
So I close my eyes and I wonder


And I will go when I will
But I hope there′s some life left in me still
And I know one day I will be dead
But please, please God, please not yet
