It takes a sailors soul to tame the mighty sea
The man in front, the harponeer, is standing tall
It waits beneath the waves to take down fifty men
And the octopus is rising from the dark


Deeper and deeper and deeper it dives for attack
Faster and faster and faster it keeps coming back
Masts break and sails tear as tentacles destroy the wreck

Blood on broken planks, dead bodies, silent hearts
As the octopus it pulls them into the dark
While their widows weep the kraken never sleeps
