Is it evening? I've forgotten.

Have I eaten? I don't know.
Lonely, 'cause it′s easy.
Sad, and as I yawn, I′m restless and uneasy when you're gone.

Shadows have have been climbing up my window
I haven't seen the sunrise in so long.
Tired, but not sleepy
The dew breaks on the lawn
I always greet the morning when you′re gone.
It's dawn.

At 5 am, it′s chilly, and I almost sleep. I almost sleep.
At 6 o'clock, the fog lifts from my sheets.
Seven brings the coffee.
Eight the sparrow's song.
