Watching it betrayed on TV
Rock and roll it had a good run
It didn′t die it's just forgotten


It was starting to feel like a habit
There was never a lot to get mad at
So why do we always have to yell?

Trying to make it all seem valid

I wish somebody′d play a ballad

It was starting to feel like a real chore
Started questioning what we were there for
Always banging my head against the wall
