Left on my own
What did I do wrong?
To deserve this shame

I hear a voice
I′m left with no choice
To observe their games

Outside I see the life
I would not dare describe

Yet I ask why
Why I'm left to cry
For what I′ll never have

My body creeks
I follow their shrieks
Past my wooden walls


I see them there They're
Without a care Stood
Straight and tall

Outside I know there's life
I would not fantasise

I might have known
That here on my own
My days would fill with the empty

My questions sink And all
I do is blink At the
Clouded moon

The river calls
The devil he crawls
But I have attuned

Outside I know there′s life
Beyond my sunken eyes

My body′s bent
And all my time is spent
Being teased with my freedom
