I remember the beams in the backyard
About yay high, just down the street on 72nd
Shouldn′t have let me
Stay up so late and watch those R-rated movies
Cause now I think I'm afraid of the dark
But that′s okay, cause I think about the day
And now every time one comes on, I feel a little bit brave
How'd I go and make myself into a grown up
I sure remember saying I don't wanna
