He keeps the metre running, He keeps the engine Hot as I step outside into the freezing cold
I embrace the light like a moth, but I flap my wings like a bird
And I don't flap hard enough to keep myself afloat, in the frigid air

The Haze of the day hides the smoke from the dens, as the foxes gather round, pulling teeth from the gums of their young


Using them to build their houses, stretching skin across window panes
