I woke up from a dream
Of orbiting above the world
The view was so 3D
That the oceans beneath me seemed curdled
Over the surface, a thick veil of clouds
Covered the earth like a shroud
As I looked down
Next morning I dreamed again
That I was fast asleep in my bed
I hovered overhead
Thinking I must have been dead
Afloat on the ceiling, a wandering cloud
Bedspread on my head like a shroud As I looked down
On the third day, it rained that night
Saw visions so vivid, yet fleeting
Of cities gleaming bright
Their people extending a greeting
Easy and glowing like the sun on a cloud
Wearing the robes that were shrouds
