I was growing up in the 80′s
And I knew for sure one day things would get much better
Searching for the natural I would find
Just illusions again and again
I was growing up in the 80's
All my memories getting pale as I try to remember
Give me, give me everything once again
It is strange ′cause I wished it away way back when

I remember the feeling oh so well
All those long summer days we thought would never end
Growing up in the 80's made us feel
Life was just a playground for our dreams
We had nothing to lose, so much to gain
But there was nothing (Baby, there was nothing)
Now we make things last forever
