Hummingbird Songtext
von Chris Sohre
Hummingbird Songtext
There′s a hummingbird inside my ear
Drawn to the purple hue of thoughts and tears
Felt on slate-grey afternoons
Way down in the valley of fear
But when the honey amber flora
On the sunny slope penetrates
I soar in glory
And irregular shapes
And then the hummingbird
He hums real loud
And brings me out past Jupiter
And on through Saturn's diamond rings
Drawn to the purple hue of thoughts and tears
Felt on slate-grey afternoons
Way down in the valley of fear
But when the honey amber flora
On the sunny slope penetrates
I soar in glory
And irregular shapes
And then the hummingbird
He hums real loud
And brings me out past Jupiter
And on through Saturn's diamond rings
