And the fire in his wrath
Crossed their mind and in a flash
They remember that December
When she stopped him in his tracks
How the pain brought the rain
But it washed away the ash
How the soil took hold
And said I′ll make the most of that
Then eventually a seed
With intentions to be free
Grew some roots up in that soil
And now everything repeats
From the darkness of the mud
Began a conquest for the sun
Through the tension and the doubts
It's when eventually it sprouts
As it comes into the world
It says you better make room
For the moment when the flower finally blooms

Before I knew the words to speak
I knew my duty was to seek
I look for truth
But it′s confusing when they use a disguise
And from a youth they spoon feed you with delusional lies
And after years of feeling crazy
Taking drugs to escape it
I was pacing round the block
I started penning quotations
I learned about the history
I studied all the greatest
Gotta get your repetitions
Before you get your reputation
And I stepped into the cipher
