Small children stand in front of me
They don′t know they were and will not forever be
Chocolate, cakes and dinosaurs
Sandboxes and rainbows
Their parents pay me to see them laugh
And are impatient to take a photograph
To show them 20 years later
When they've learned about love and hate


Sometimes even clouds
Sometimes even clouds are crying
Behind the Norwood of Johnson and Wright
Looking at the moon
Looking at the moonlight on the river
The sight is sweet but the taste is bitter

I provide them childhood memories
That are light and warm like a summer breeze
That brighten up the roads they take
When their lives seem rainy everyday
That′s life, it's how it's meant to be
We start as birds and forget how to be free
But we won′t forget how it used to be
And laugh and laugh until we′re happy again
