The End Songtext

The End Songtext
I have to say it′s a new beginning
Going to a cemetery funeral in Florida summer
They say the end is up to us
My heart feels heavy and makes me think
There's only such a thing in a limited context
I wish I had forgiven myself more freely - myself and others
Words aren′t enough but for some reason they're all I have
New sadness to that - a bitter sweetness to that
Because it's the one thing guaranteed in life
Losing my mom
I hope that I′m somehow able to take control of the time
And stay in the moment that I met you
You can taste the carnations and the embalming fluid
I know that you feel it too
I look over that edge every single day
It′s inevitable
With a positive attitude
That sure was a fun ride y'all
Whether good or bad
Who but a fool would linger
Everybody needs to grieve
It′s something that we all have to go through
An opportunity to create something new
Devastating
That can get you through anything
I remember feeling at my lowest
Nothing is forever
It's much less distinguishable
The last goodbye is always the sweetest
At that point numb
Wonderful
Feeling like I′d lost everything and I'd never be happy again
Like I knew when the last time I was going to see them was
Barrier from sadness
Those were the times that were catalyst
It moves you
I think I′ll be okay with that
I just hope I get to see my father again
And I hope that today serves as a reminder
Because there's nothing else out there
It's like you have to find your own true north again
Stay with us
This is it we′re here right now
I stop being happy and i start pushing people away
And you can do whatever the fuck you want with it
The connectedness of things
I wish I would′ve enjoyed more sunsets and starry night skies
It was just the beginning of something better
But the thing that is sad is that we don't focus on the moments before the end
There′s always tomorrow
Everything is eternal even things that end eternally will have been
But not now, not yet
Mustn't complain
It′s all I could save
I'll see how it goes
When I am away
I hold the flame
I′ll have it all burn
To ash with the wage
I have never earned
You say hello
How bout goodbye
Awful to hear
Had to survive
Crossing the line
I'll burn for my sin
Kiss her goodnight
Have this be the end
Going to a cemetery funeral in Florida summer
They say the end is up to us
My heart feels heavy and makes me think
