Things I've Found in Bins Songtext
Soiled nappies, tons and tons of shit, a C and S rubble bag filled with bricks
The leftovers from a thousand barbecues and picnics, a bag full of unopened tins of Heinz-baked beans, broken bottles, broken dreams
A dead rat, a dead hedgehog, a dead pigeon with an eye missing and a bunch of wound in its chest, a big black bag full of dead birds, fly-tipped mattresses, car wheels
suitcases, sacks and sacks of mouldy bread and cakes, loads of empty tins of dog food, loads of full tins of dog food, a bag full of cat litter, shitty boxers, shitty knickers
These are some of the things I have found in and around bins. It makes me wonder who put them in. Who are they? What are their lives like? What is their meaning? And when they did this, what were they thinking
And when they did this, what were they thinking
These are some of the things I have found in bins. It makes me wonder who put them in. Who are they? What are their hopes and dreams? And what made them think a public bin is the place for such things
The leftovers from a thousand barbecues and picnics, a bag full of unopened tins of Heinz-baked beans, broken bottles, broken dreams
