Check Me Out Songtext

Check Me Out Songtext
Every night starts out the same
Stuck in this room, no idea how I came
To be trapped in this endless hotel of terrors
With a highented sense of fear
I look for the door, but it′s not really clear
Why I have the feeling that I am stuck roaming these halls forever
And suddenly I feel eyes set upon me
From the darkness in the corner of the room
While I can't see her face
I know to run from this place soon, or to embrace my doom
And boom! I take off thru the wall
And met with a hall of a thousand doors, and all
Filled with the worst cursed memories that
I′ve tried and failed to hide and bury so deep inside
And I am pulled once again
Back to that Brooklyn apt, you remember when
Filled with so much booze
You struck me so many times I should have died
I want to check out
I need to break free.
Point me to the exit
I'm ready to leave
Please let me check out, again I cry
What I wouldn't give
To again see the sky
This hotel of horrors was especially made just for me
After what feels like days
Dying over and over a hundred violent ways
Many of the scars blazed
Across my body from all of my previous stays
And in this maze, the pain produces
Oh my mind can find oh so many uses
For the all of the memories that remain
Of the real-world abuses
As I reach my end, bloody and grotesque
I finally stumble upon a man standing behind the front desk
And I ask him to show me to the door
He just stared at me, a look of apathy
You know, the only thing keeping you here is your inability to let go
Stuck in this room, no idea how I came
To be trapped in this endless hotel of terrors
With a highented sense of fear
I look for the door, but it′s not really clear
Why I have the feeling that I am stuck roaming these halls forever
And suddenly I feel eyes set upon me
From the darkness in the corner of the room
While I can't see her face

And boom! I take off thru the wall

And I am pulled once again
Back to that Brooklyn apt, you remember when
