Underneath the Sun Songtext
von Bill Fay

Underneath the Sun Songtext

Birds are busy building nests in the tree branches
And all the squirrels are burying nuts before the winter hits
Underneath the sun
Clouds roll by and the rivers they run underneath the sun
Rain falls down and waters the ground

The cherry tree is forming buds for the blossom to come
And the tall pine tree towers above the saxifrage
Underneath the sun
Clouds roll by and the rivers they run underneath the sun
Rain falls down and waters the ground

Where people are sure that everyone, even little ones
And trains will be ringing and roll through the night to their destinations
Underneath the sun
Why does this happen, and what have we done underneath the sun?
While clouds roll by and rivers they run, what have we done?
While rain falls down and waters the ground underneath the sun

Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun

Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
Underneath the sun
