Try Anyway Songtext
von Anny Ogrezeanu

Wish i could breathe, breathe freely
Wish i could read the news and smile
Wish we could be all we were promised
Wish we could love and walk and dress and talk as we like

They say that we′re hopeless, they say that we're nuts
That we don′t have the heart, the knowledge or the guts
To teach and to learn
To change the world

But we'll try, try anyway
Try anyway, try anyway
And we'll rise above your mistakes
And we′ll try anyway, try anyway, try anyway

I hope we′ll keep a purpose
Hope we'll never lose our strength though it ain′t perfect
No matter what they say, wanna feel alive
So one day we'll be free to see the other side

They say that we′re hopeless, they say that we're nuts
That we don′t have the heart, the knowledge or the guts
To teach and to learn
To change the world

But we'll try, try anyway
We'll try anyway, try anyway
And we′ll rise above your mistakes
And we′ll try anyway, try anyway, try anyway

There's still hope in me, there′s still hope in us
There's still hope in me, there′s still hope in us
(there's still hope in us, there′s still hope)
There's still hope in me, there's still hope in us
(there′s still hope in us, there′s still hope)
There's still hope in me, there′s still hope in us

And we'll try, try anyway, we′ll try anyway, try anyway
And we'll rise above your mistakes
And we′ll try anyway, try anyway

And we'll try, try anyway, try anyway, try anyway
And we'll rise above your mistakes
And we′ll try anyway, try anyway

Try anyway
