The Blithe Ignorance Songtext
von Ade

The cult must be respected and the people follow the creed
An entire city stops for those festivities

The time has come, the time has come
Feasts must be prepared
For the year′s going to start
For the year's going to end

Between the yells and dances of an unaware crowd
The waves of treason swash in a stormy sea
A man, Caesar, icon of an age, protects those cults
But who will protect him?

In the nearby forest a sacred fountain is concealed
Black magic lies inside source of evil sorceries

Pawns drunk of wine and gold respect a pact
The waves of treason swash even if the sea seems calm
And crush against the dream of a unified world
Tumults viber like lion roars but the worst ring in the dark

Some people will feast on blood to achieve and conquer command
A corpse soaked with splendor violating the cult of Anna Perenna

Walk through the blithe ignorance
Walk through the blithe ignorance
Walk through the blithe ignorance

Infamous conjuries on display in front of a dazed background
The sky is dark and whispers rain
A man is offensively crowned

A year is dying, a man will die fallen into the Ides of March
Few men are going to play a role inside the game of retain control

A nest, hidden inside marble, cradled enemies
Blood drips from the leaves of a crown lying on the street
The mesh is tighter and suffocating
Bird eating a seed that will grow no more

Through the blithe ignorance
Walk through the blithe ignorance
Live through the blithe ignorance
Walk through the blithe ignorance

Infamous conjuries on display in front of a dazed background
The sky is dark and whispers rain
A man is offensively crowned

A year is dying, a man will die fallen into the Ides of March
Few men are going to play a role inside the game of retain control

Walk through the blithe ignorance
