Now am I submerged
Beneath the flood
That floweth not
Whence the wise once drank
Their roads undone
Their wells forgot
This world would suffer like
And take the draught
Of bitter green
And tears will salt the earth
For what was once
And might have been

Helpless we sink in the mire
The widening gyre
That swallows without compassion
A benediction of rot
To cherish not
It′s visage hollow and ashen


Flow, rivers of filth
And drown a world that suffers none
To rise against the grain
And thereby unbalance the sum
(Drown) the ivory towers
The vision lost
Beneath the waves
And (leave a barren land)
Where shallow minds
Find shallow graves

Helpless we sink in the mire

That swallows without compassion
A benediction of rot
To cherish not
It's visage hollow and ashen
It is the fate of fools!

Rise
Rise, vile seas!
Thrice accursed your tides
Swell
Swell endlessly
Never to subside

Humanity
