Wolves gather in pack amongst the fallen
Weary limbs quiver in madness and desperation
Empty eyes witness the end

Thoughts sway ′tween void and chasm
Memories steep in fathomless sorrow
Loathing and despair prevail in these corridors of nothingness
Where the vain search always seem to endure
As if it lay something different under every stone turned
Than another hollow truth to embellish our funeral pyres


Woe to the vanquished
...and their forgotten songs
The chalice of bitterness is overflowing with liars' gall

Late is the hour
When horns resound
The halls of our fathers are nothing but dust

Are we not fettered in our own chains, bound to dwell in perpetual night?

Roving plains so cold and silent
Across waters so vicious and violent
Constantly gazing towards the treacherous beckonings yonder
