The Party Songtext
von William Beckmann

Saw you tonight at the party
But I was too high to say hi
My friends all left with somebody
It′s funny those bastards love Irish goodbyes
So I went back to my apartment
In the backseat of a stranger's car
I got in bed with my jeans on
Dreaming that you were still here in my arms

And I don′t think about what could have been
Until I'm all loaded up
And I don't miss the feeling of your skin
Until I′m lonely as fuck
I know I′ll wake up in the morning
Try to find my car keys
Call up all the boys and talk shit about the party

Saw you tonight at the party
And I know that you saw me too
Course you showed up with somebody
And I showed up with nothing but a bottle of booze

And I don't think about what could have been
Until I′m all loaded up
And I don't think about your body, babe
Until I′m lonely as fuck
I know I'll wake up in the morning
Try to find my car keys
Call up all the boys and talk shit about the party

Saw you tonight at the party
But I was too high to say hi
