Ι woke up late
Caught up in this feeling that I can′t explain
The sky was grey
I called you up and said that I was on my way

A better smoke and looked around
Made sure that the phone was down
And tried to stop myself from going over
Every little word we say, well, it don't mean a thing
I′d rather let it slip away


Some days ago
Someone told a story that I've heard before
But I don't know if I was ever going to believe a word

If you could open up your eyes
You wouldn′t think about it twice
You′d get a glimpse of all things as they are
Jealousy is not a friend, it only feeds your fear
Very few will understand
