behold such catastrophe


ecology torn asunder
species extinct in a heartbeat
engulfed in flames
never to be seen again
widespread famine
causes mass extinction

after all the carnage settles
millenniums fast elapsing
signs of life begin appearing
buried deep within the earth

spores from far beyond the stars
begin slowly reproducing
forming planetary web
celestial mycelium
