Sleeping alone
I am stunned by the weight of the stone
Roots set deep
My limbs are fixed to the ground and I cannot breathe
It is crushing me
Hiding, I see the headlights driving straight at me
Buried underneath
This five year dream is awakening
It is burdening
It burdens me with half truths of my life

Straps pulled tight
Force me towards delight
Not alright
I now feel too contrite
Save me from the cycle
All I feel is pain
Struggling to abstain
My life is a stain

Every day is a new maze
And at the end I'm left longing to be erased

It is a dark road to a dark place
Where there is no face, nor space
For I alone am there
Deceptively happy
Perhaps this body would rest remarkably
Alone in the ground
Take a deep breath
