Hilmar Songtext

There was a boy on the floor
While raising his thick dark eyebrows
His tongue would drop all the way from side to side
He′d tell you a story
Among other things he'd say he was a scientist
And that the aliens were interested in him
They′d take him for rides in their spaceships
They'd experiment on him

He said, "Sometimes it feels good to burn
And sometimes it feels good to die
Kill a piece of yourself and learn"

He was a fanatic with drug-dazed brains
Too much religion and a testimony for fat Tom Arians
Who are hypochondriac, doody-poo inflatable liars
So the only thing to do is show 'em
And show ′em he knew
In his H-shaped McCall suntan
And his crossbone hairs with Jesus
He′d make them holy, one and all
One and all with bloody palms and feet
They will be what they will eat

He said, "Sometimes it feels good to burn
And sometimes it feels good to die
Kill a piece of yourself and learn"

It could have been a nightmare
But this is my waking time
It could have been a nightmare
But was it his or mine?

He said it was the aliens
They were playing with his mind
They left him three little pills
They left him behind

He said, "Sometimes it feels good to burn
And sometimes it feels good to die
Kill a piece of yourself and learn"
