Towards enlightenment carrying the wounded essence of a broken spirit
Heart in hand, and wearing crown of thorns
I shield myself from parasites all around me with hatred and scorn
Armed to the teeth, wielding the spear of Longinus!

I fell from heights
Betrayed by the blind
Whom I blindly followed
Salvation denied
I was cast aside
Whipped and hollowed

Carved clean of emotions I held in regard


I felt the cold truth that would lead me there where my true nature calls my name
I embraced the flame still burning inside and would forever glow
I called out the names of old spirits abandoned
And offered myself as a sacrifice
And I was sacrificed

I raise from below
I will take toll
A cold breeze beside me
I will avenge
This world cleansed
Of parasites carrying the plague

Of love, light, hope and forgiveness

Blood and water pour out from the infected wound
As I pierce the side of a fallen idol
A torment that has weakened me to a mere shadow
Shall be put down forevermore
And a new creation is at hand
