The stale and acrid aromas of seclusion and decay
Permeate the spaces rooms and halls

Doorways, towering - Reaching incredible heights
My eyes playing tricks - Not used to the brightness
A world full of wonder - Not sure what I see is real

In the darkened shadows lay a lonely silhouette
A creature with protruding bones and sickly yellow flesh
I quickly turn away not understanding what I had seen
Try to make my way back home not knowing where I'd been
