I remember when it was time to go
Our hands across our eyes because they were no use
Time apart will make us stronger still
This rising water can′t touch fires that burn on hills


And in my journey's mirror
Lost in an odd adventure
I cursed a million moments
So strange to miss each other
I had a hole in my heart
What came to be was all wrong
You were receding slowly
And almost delicately
My view on this was confused
I shaped electric and blue
I could get into this thing

The hurt, the mistakes that we share
Stand at the edge of ending
And the sun is red

Hold still and grin like robots
Such long departed lovers
There is a touch of sadness
In your smile, it makes me falter
When you touch to check that it′s me
But I'm not the way that I was
You said I'd live without you
And I thought that this would break all
Of my bones and all my body
But I′m fine, I′m swimming slowly
Your taste no longer on me
I know this could wrong again
So let's forget this all
