Cactus Songtext
von Tropidelic

It wasn′t that long ago
Nothing came easy
Things I could not control
Kept wearing me out
I got a new philosophy
I think it's worth keeping
Anything is possible
But never look down

Walk before you run
A million ways to overcome
It′s a race that can't be won
So chill like a cactus in the sun
It's work that′s never done
So take your time and ramble on
Existence weighs a ton
Be still like a cactus in the sun

Go ′head, sit down
Nobody's got a way out
We′re all together
Everybody's in the same house
Storm′s coming but we dancing to the rain clouds
I told 'em it′s been dry in the desert
Hey baby, praise God

Times are tough but we ain't looking for escape pods
We do the work and we don't care how long it takes us

We chase love, never worry ′bout the pay stub
I made a name, I saved a face and never changed up
My feelings go rise to my ceiling
I ride by thy dealings
So why not try healing

My mind ′cause time's stealing
My life and I′m stealing it
The heat is always beating down but we don't yield to it

Walk before you run
A million ways to overcome
It′s a race that can't be won
So chill like a cactus in the sun
It′s work that's never done
So take your time and ramble on
Existence weighs a ton
Be still like a cactus in the sun

Walk before you run
A million ways to overcome
It's a race that can′t be won
So chill like a cactus in the sun
It′s work that's never done
So take your time and ramble on
Existence weighs a ton
Be still like a cactus in the sun
