Hello can you see me?
You could call me Alice,
Though I′m standing on the wrong side of the glass
And only part of me comes through

Hello can you see through me?
Sometimes it's hard to go on feigning normalcy
When I don′t know just why or if it matters if I do


You take my hand, and I nestle in the shelter of your love
And I try so hard to feel that it's enough
And I know that you know, even if I never breathe a word
So I'll try to play the scene for just another day

Hello can you hear me?
I′m shouting or I′m whispering, I can't tell which
But does it even matter, ′cause I don't know what to say
Tell me, can you feel this heat?
It feels like deep inside there′s something boiling
But I can't find the source of the fuel that feeds this flame
