Is there something I′m supposed to

Do or say to You for You to come closer
And see You more magnified than a close-up
And see You better than the lines of a poster
Should I do most of
Should I work more

Should I pray, should I fast, quote a verse more
Cause I rehearse for every church service I search
But I never seem to find what I thirst for
And it just hurts more, everyday I chase this
Hunger that I have but my time feels wasted
I feel so exhausted like running nine races
My mind feels tired, I'm tryna find patience
I dive in Your pages, eyes on Your sacreds
And gaze till they look like the lines from the Matrix

Every line I abide and embrace it
But I ain′t satisfied with the basics
I wanna go deeper

Another service that seems to go on

We sing a couple hours, he preach, we go home
It's the same routine I've seen for so long
I leave thinking that maybe we need some more songs
But I ain′t growing, man, I leave with the same mind
I feel like last year my faith was the same size
I get upset seeing others live changed lives
Shame got me saying, "Are we praying to the same God?"
I got wounds that need nursing

Past dirts and beliefs that need reversing
Words that need hearses, hurts that need verses
Sight that needs light, a life that needs purpose

Cause sometimes I feel I′ve never been purchased
I'm searching and searching and still feel worthless
And I don′t want a bunch of new things of the earth, Lord
I just wanna go beyond the surface
I wanna go deeper

I spend time in my room, trying
Fighting to put my whole life in tune with God
And I don't move till I move me and lose this pride
And pray until I pray, then pray until He move inside
And I don′t need a sign, I just need You to rise
And do whatever with my life, Lord, You decide
I do what You desire, okay I lose my mind

Give You my heart and trust You'll make a brand new design
Help me to better see the message I proclaim to guys
And see the love of the Holy One who came and died
Who took pain in a frame when the shame was mine
Who gave His life in exchange for mine
My thing this time is not to cop another chain that shine
I need a clean heart and a better frame of mind
I fall down like the rain in skies
As I aim my eyes to the God who never changed in time
To go deeper
