Blessed Assurance Songtext
von Tommee Profitt

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His spirit, washed in His blood

Oh-oh, oh
Oh-oh, oh, oh

Perfect submission, perfect delight
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight
Angels descending bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love

Oh-oh (ooh-ooh), oh (of love)
Oh-oh (mm, ah), oh (love), oh

Perfect submission, all is at rest
I, in my Savior, am happy and blest
Watching and waiting, looking above
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love

This is my story, this is my song
I will praise You, You′re my Savior King forever
This is my story, this is my song
I will praise You, You're my Savior King forever, oh

This is my story, this is my song
I will praise You, You′re my Savior King forever
This is my story, this is my song
I will praise You, I will praise You
I will praise Your name forever (ooh)
I will praise You, I will praise You
I will praise Your name forever

I will praise You (I will praise You), I will praise You (I will praise You)
I will praise Your name forever
