Colours Songtext

Colours Songtext

Once again it′s fallen through my hands
Like a shooting star that falls so far
You don't see where it lands
Even if I did I could not fix this
And the million different pieces
And the damage that′s inflicted
Wading through the guilt inside my head
Oh, it would send a shiver down your spine
Trying to understand this mind of mine
Instead, I paint a picture on the wall
Of a memory that used to be the calm before the storm
And when I try to find some comfort
In a place so far from home
I always end up feeling so alone
And the colours, the colours
The colours keep on fading in the rain
And when I try to paint them in again
The picture has never been the same
The same
The same

The same
And once again I feel so insecure
Cause I've been tumbling around the ocean
I've been searching for the shore
I hold my breath and hope to see a light
From the lighthouse on the mainland
Holding sunshine in the night
And when I try to find some comfort
In a place so far from home
I always end up feeling so alone
Oh and the colours
The colours, the colours keep on fading in the rain
When I try to paint them in again
The picture has never been the same
The same
Oh the same
Oh the same
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh yeah
Well, I ain′t ever giving up
If you don′t let me down
And as long as you love me, love me, love me
Well, I ain't never gonna drown
No, I′ll swim in the colours
And I'll swim in the colours
Oh, I′ll swim in the colours
And I'll swim in the colours
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh
