Acting on Impulse Songtext
von Tom McGuinness

Do you wanna walk?
Do you wanna talk
′Bout what we did last night?
When the band started playing
I was swaying and holding you tight
You were there for dancing
But romancing was on my mind

I was acting on impulse
Sorry if I made a fool of myself
I was acting on impulse
I kinda lost control of myself
But did you ever cast your fate to the wind?
Did you never back a long shot to win?
Will you ever let me see you again?
I was acting on impulse
Acting on impulse

Ain't no excuse but I had a little juice
I really didn′t mean no harm
Drinking by myself
I admired you from the bar
When you slapped my face
I knew I'd gone too far

I was acting on impulse
I took a leap before I looked
I was acting on impulse
I jumped ahead before I should
But did you ever cast your fate to the wind?
Did you never back a long shot to win?
Will you ever let me see you again?
I was acting on impulse
Acting on impulse

Romeo and Juliet
The minute that they met
Knew that it was love at first sight
Baby, you and me
Maybe we didn't hit it off right
But at a second glance
You might see me in a different light

I was acting on impulse
Sorry if I made a fool of myself
I was acting on impulse
I kinda lost control of myself
But did you never cast your fate to the wind?
Did you ever back a long shot to win?
Will you ever let me see you again?
I was acting on impulse
Acting on impulse

I was acting on impulse
I was acting on impulse
I was acting on impulse
I was acting on impulse
I was acting on impulse
I was acting on impulse
