Wisdom Songtext
von Titanic

To know wisdom and instruction
To give words of understanding
To receive an instruction
Justice, judgment, equity
To give prudence to the simple
A wise man will obtain wise counsel
The fear of the lord is instruction
But fools make their own destruction

Forget the fools and the folly
Get some wisdom and some knowledge
Forget the gold and the silver
Get yourself some wisdom
Get into the kingdom

So my son receive my words
Treasure my commands in you
So incline your ear to wisdom
Apply your heart′s what you should do
Search out for the hidden treasure
And find the knowledge of God Almighty
Yeah, I said God Almighty, oh yeah!

Forget the fools and the folly
Get some wisdom and some knowledge
Forget the gold and the silver
Get yourself some wisdom
Get into the kingdom

My son you need to get the law
Deep in your heart's what you should do
For length of days and life long
And peace they will add to you
Happy man has got some wisdom
Don′t be wise in your own eyes
And don't detest his correction
The man who finds wisdom's wise

Forget the fools and the folly
Get some wisdom and some knowledge
Forget the gold and the silver
Get yourself some wisdom
Get into the kingdom
Forget the fools
Get some wisdom
Forget the gold
Get yourself some wisdom
Get into the kingdom
