Colorblind Songtext

Colorblind Songtext

You could say I′m green
Never could see the forest for the trees
New love dressed in rose-colored hues
Always looked so comforting
But there's always an end
Color-coded as friends
And the finger that′s pointing the blame
I just can't tell what is real
Or how I ought to feel
When it all looks so g-g-g-great

It's like we′re falling apart in slow motion
If you don′t know where to look, you'd never notice that

I′m color blind
Couldn't see the red flags in front of my starry eyes
All the signs said something wasn′t right
Color blind, I'm color blind

Wanna wave this white flag?
It′s time for us to call it quits
We were signing all the right words
Got real good at faking it
But there's no more excuse
Yeah, we both know the truth
That it's time to give up this charade
No more pretend
Just a bittersweet end
When we both can admit that we made a mistake

It′s like we′re falling apart in slow motion
If you don't know where to look, you′d never notice that

I'm color blind
Couldn′t see the red flags in front of my starry eyes
All the signs said something wasn't right
Color blind, I′m color blind

Just like me, you were so blue
Didn't want it to be true
Now I know the world's not black and white
And I′ve got the proof
We′re both left broken-hearted
And we don't know what to do

′Cause I'm color blind
Couldn′t see the red flags in front of my starry eyes
All the signs said something wasn't right
Color blind, I′m color
Color blind
Couldn't see the red flags in front of my starry eyes
All the signs said something wasn't right
Color blind, I′m color blind
