Why Shouldn’t You Songtext

1, 2, 3, 4!

I was born in the fields of Amsterdam
And I've traveled some and made a plan
Find a place where I belong
Find a place that I call home
Luck is a gift that we can't control
Being lucky we should realise a little bit more

Oh but somewhere near around my place
Too many people that tipped my faith
Claimed that this is what they fought for
How can you claim if you've never been to war?
Luck is the life that you have got
Freedom might be obvious but it's not.

I can go anywhere
I can walk anywhere
I can go anywhere, do what I want to do
I can go anywhere, so why shouldn't you?

Oh, somewhere far across the line
Lives a brother and a sister waiting for their time
Trying to find a place where they belong
Find a place that they call home
Luck was all they left behind
Worry is a burden that won't leave their minds

I can go anywhere
I can walk anywhere
I can go anywhere, do what I want to do
If I can go anywhere, then why shouldn't you?

We can go anywhere
We can walk anywhere
We can go anywhere, do what we want to do
I can go anywhere, so why shouldn't you?

Somewhere far across the sea
Live a million people just like me
Trying to find a place that they call home
Trying to escape from the loaded gun
Love is a thing they hardly know,
Help is a power that we should use a little bit more.

Oh

We can go anywhere
We can walk anywhere
We can go anywhere, do what we want to do
If I can go anywhere, then why shouldn't you?
I can go anywhere, so why shouldn't you?
