I Could Have Been A Dancer Songtext
von Tim Vantol

I Could Have Been A Dancer Songtext

I could have wasted away my weekends in some fancy nightclubs.
I could have spent all of the money that I got.
On some expensive tasty drinks
And walking back home wouldn′t be much fun.

I could have done what they expect from me, not knowing what to do.
Just close my eyes and follow blindly and I wouldn't have a goddamn clue.
And I forgot about what I want, and would have regrets for all the things I haven′t done.

And now I spend most of my weekends, playing in a bar.
I might not see much money but never thought I would get this far.
And it won't cost me to have fun
And I can keep singing and playing all of my songs.

And you could ask yourself the question,
Is it all fucking worth it? But just remember things could have been worse.

I could have wasted away my life, and would have had regrets.
I could have thought about the thoughts, I'd be better of dead.
And when I think about what I′ve done, all that I remember would be none.

And you could ask yourself the question,
Is it all fucking worth it? But just remember things could have been worse.
