Ride Train Ride Songtext

Ride Train Ride Songtext
I stretch my legs, rub my weary eyes,
as the countryside landscape passes me by.
It′s a half a day's travel, no more and no less,
but it feels like forever, I have to confess.
Ride Train Ride. On silvery tracks together we slide.
The trees outside stand naked and brown.
Shows signs of a winter that is no longer around.
The occasional stops seem random and scattered,
and the fields are grey and the ground is matted.
In the faces around me the weariness grows.
What is in their mind, well, nobody knows.
In silence we wait from station to station.
Together, impatient to reach our destination.
It aims to blind, the sun that hangs low.
Spring has arrived and lets everyone know.
The air is heavy and the carpets are black,
and I lost track of time that will never come back.
as the countryside landscape passes me by.
