He took it badly, he didn't feel the same
He shouldn′t have asked her at the big ball game

They called it quits, after that night
Everytime it came up, it turned into a fight

A few years later he finally got
A nice lady to tie the knot
They were happy
He stayed the course
But after a while
He filed for divorce

She found a good one
They felt like a team
