The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want
He makes me lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside still waters
He restores my soul
And He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name′s sake


Thank You for waking me this morning Lord, amen
Thank You for my wife, my kids, and many blessings
But my God I got a couple questions
Is it true that You forgive everything that I did?
And Jesus came and died on the cross for my sins
And all I gotta do is come to You and repent
And You gon' take my sinfulness and truly forgive
But God I done done some evil things
But You saying I′m gon' get my wings
And You gon' let me in them gates
When my eyes close on that day
I′m a killer Lord I′m full of hate
But You gon' wash that all away
I guess there′s nothing left for me to say
But I'm in desperate need of Your grace

Treading dark waters
Feeling forsaken
I cry to God
Finding no rest
Scorned by mankind
My strength is poured out
You lay me in the dust of my death

God it′s hard for me to think about
You know things I don't even speak about
What about that time?
That′s still hard for me to talk about
My Father in Heaven Your will be done
On earth in me 'til Your kingdom come
And after all the crazy things I've done
You still call me Your son

Grace and mercy will follow
All the days of my life
And I shall dwell in Your house forever


They say Heaven paved with streets of gold
And it′s the place where the righteous go
Jesus the only one can save the soul
That′s walking down the wide road
As I walk through the valley of death I've no fear
′Cause the Lord is my shepherd and He with me right here
And I can't wait ′til I see His face
When I walk through Heaven's gates
