The first rays of light brought a great darkness
They brought it with them into my world
Anticipate the horrors that lie in wait
My time was spent, forcing me to leave
Like vultures ripping me apart
Nothing to do but to endure the pain
Like ravens tearing the flesh off my bones
Each pick brings me further to my grave
Time brings me closer to judgement
This time it almost felt safe
The hours pass and then they came
Like blind rats staring into the void
Can′t see nor hear, believe it's not the brain
Stay in the shadows, hidden in plain sight
Choose not to act, accept this bitter fact

A rusty blade
