Midsommarblot Songtext
von Therion

Dawning, sunrise, daylight dethrones the dark
Crowning, gilding beauty on high
Time shapes a paradise of earth and the sea
Gather us mortals to thee
Prepare our sacrifice

Goddess Freja, mistress of human lust
Verdure, bring us, daughter of Njord
Come forth Brisingamen, of fire do shine
Forged to a jewel divine
Enrich our sacrifice

Mighty Sunna sailing on Alfrödull
Cover skylines, seek and arrive
Circle of Blot will praise this season and thee
Into the fireplace, gifts now we bring
Midsummer ritual fulfilled

Sacrifice!
Sacrifice!
Sacrifice!
Sacrifice!

Sacrifice!
Sacrifice!
Sacrifice!
Sacrifice!
