The tedium of every useless day
It numbs my mind
It wastes away


Watching the walls through blank eyes
Just a glimpse of sunlight in the distance

And I saw the world in (Black and white)
Until the colors came in (Eyes go wide)
Eyes go wide

The ocean greets me
As an old friend
Stretching its arms out
To welcome

To breathe, not to live
No pieces in place
Distant memories
Of people I′ve never seen
There is a path
Not yet taken

I felt unease
I thought I had made my peace
