Compromise Songtext
von The Vovos

Went to Canberra
On a school trip
Was a long trip there
Went to Parliament
Saw a red room
And a green room too
Visited some galleries
There was some overpriced food
And so-so artwork
Then we were dragged to a coin mint
And some gardens
It was so fucking boring
That′s why it was a school trip
And next time I'm gonna skip it

A city crafted out of thin air
Is more than we can all bear
A city crafted out of thin air
It′s more than we can all bear

Canberra
You're just a big small town
And Canberra
You make everyone frown
Canberra
Nobody likes you
And Canberra
That's a bit of an issue

Canberra
You′re just a big small town
And Canberra
You make everyone frown
Canberra
Nobody likes you
And Canberra
That′s a bit of an issue, an issue, an issue

Actually
I've got an affinity
(Affinity)
It′s peaceful, it's pristine and it is pretty
(It is pretty)
I′d go there on a holiday sometimes
(Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes, sometimes)
NO

Canberra
You're just a big small town
And Canberra
You make everyone frown
Canberra
Nobody likes you
And Canberra
That′s a bit of an issue

Canberra
You're just a big small town
Guess you might have a pretty decent underground
(Canberra)
You know, Canberra
Nobody likes you
And Canberra
That's a bit of an issue

Cause you′re our capital city
Our capital city
You′re our capital city
Our capital city
You're our capital city
(It′s a bit of an issue, an issue, an issue)
Our capital city
You're our capital city
(It′s a bit of an issue, an issue, an issue)
Our capital city
You're our capital city
(It′s a bit of an issue, an issue, an issue)
Our capital city
You're our capital city
It's a bit of an issue, an issue, an issue, an issue
