Steppin’ On A Cloud Songtext
von The Vocal Union

One of these days
I′m gonna leave
Oh it won't be long
Till I′m going home
Oh I'll take
My final journey
I'm gonna rest
In Heaven′s blue dome

Sometimes I get in a hurry
The stars and the planets
Oh I′m gonna walk
On the milky white way
Oh when Gabriel
He gives the signal
I'm gonna leave
For Heaven to stay

Stepping on a cloud
We′ll see Jesus
Rise to meet Him in the air
Stepping on a cloud
He will greet us
Oh the joy together we'll share

I′m a gonna leave this world behind me
I'm a going where the devil cannot find me
I′m going higher
Higher
Higher
Higher

Higher
Oh higher
To meet Jesus
Stepping on a cloud

Stepping on a cloud

One of these days
I'm gonna leave
Child it won't be long
Till I′m going home
Oh I′ll take
My final journey
I'm gonna rest
Myself in Heaven′s blue dome

Sometimes I get in a hurry
The stars and the planets
Oh I'm gonna walk
On the milky white way
Oh when Gabriel
He gives the signal
I′m gonna leave
For Heaven to stay

Stepping on a cloud
We'll see Jesus
Rise to meet Him in the air
Stepping on a cloud
He will greet us
Oh the joy together we′ll share

I'm a gonna leave this world behind me
I'm a going where the devil cannot find me
I′m going higher
Higher
Higher
Higher
Higher
Oh higher

I′m going higher
Higher
Higher
Higher

Higher
Oh higher

I'm going higher
Higher
Higher
Higher
Higher
Oh higher
To meet Jesus

Stepping on a cloud
Stepping on a cloud
Stepping on a cloud
We′ll see Jesus
Rise to meet Him in the air
Stepping on a cloud
He will greet us
Oh the joy together we'll share

I′m a gonna leave this world behind me
I'm a going where the devil cannot find me
I′m going higher
Higher
Higher
Higher
Higher
Oh higher
To meet Jesus
Stepping on a cloud

Stepping on a cloud

Stepping on a cloud
