Moonlight Promises Songtext
von The Viscounts

Moonlight promises
Moonlight promises
Mixed with kisses and sighs
Moonlight promises
Moonlight promises
Turned into sunshine lies

As you kissed me in the moonlight
I thought true love had begun
But your moonlight charms
And the warmth of your arms
Soon cooled in the morning sun

Moonlight promises
Moonlight promises
Mixed with kisses and sighs
Moonlight promises
Moonlight promises
Turned into sunshine lies

We vowed to be together
To that star we wished upon
But your pledge was just a line
To this moonlight valentine
And now like the star you′re gone

Moonlight promises
Moonlight promises
Mixed with kisses and sighs
Moonlight promises
Moonlight promises
Turned into sunshine lies
