The Waitress Songtext
von The Soviets

So you talked through all the things you wanna be,
And you passed the list forever on to me.
As you conquered all your fears,
And you burned another bridge,
And you swore you saw forever in your eyes.

It never rained that day,
But we looked upon a rainbow anyway.

Well I swear I built that place for you that day,
As I drove you held my hand for all the way.
Even now I see the view,
From the door you led me through,
Where the waitress only had her eyes for you.

It never rained that day,
But we looked upon a rainbow anyway.

So you talked through all the things you wanna be,
And you passed the list forever on to me.
As you conquered all your fears,
And you burned another bridge,
And you swore you saw forever in your eyes.

I don′t remember the rain that day,
But we looked upon a rainbow anyway.
It never rained that day,
But we looked upon a rainbow anyway.
